Welcome to Yoga Bliss! I’m Michelle, and I’m so excited to have you here. I’ve been a yoga instructor for four wonderful years now, and I can’t tell you enough how life-changing the practice has been for me-both in mind and body.
Physical movement has always played a major role in my life, especially as a professional dancer and instructor. Through dance, I discovered the profound connection between movement and expression, and how it can transform not just the body, but the mind and spirit as well.
As I transitioned from dance to yoga, I realized that both practices share a beautiful synergy. They both emphasize the importance of being present in the moment, cultivating awareness, and nurturing the body’s natural rhythms. My background in dance has enriched my yoga practice, allowing me to bring creativity and fluidity to my classes, while also deepening my understanding of body mechanics and alignment.
Yoga has truly helped me find a little more zen in this beautiful journey we call life. It’s guided me to tune inward, listen closely, and learn so much more about myself. One of the greatest gifts I’ve received from this practice is the ability to find moments of stillness, peace and calm. It’s taught me the importance of compassion, acceptance, and love for both myself and for others.
To me, yoga is more than just a physical practice; it’s a way of life. My hope is to share this incredible journey with you and help you discover your own mind-body-soul connection, joy, and peace. Together, let’s explore the beauty and serenity that yoga can bring into our lives.
